Bio M. Collagen is a compact matrix, of a yellowish white color, corrugated, made from swine intestinal submucosa collagen considered one of the purer sources of collagen type I, II and VI. Bio M. Collagen provides support to weakened tissue. It has proven its properties as a scaffold for tissue remodeling and reconstruction in various experiments with animals and humans. The collagen matrix contains factors, which in contrast to other types of implants that reabsorb collagen and are replaced by scar tissue, this is vascularized and replaced by functional tissue such as muscle fibers, mucosa, bone or nerves.
